Physical Education

At Roebuck Primary School, we are committed to promoting active, healthy lifestyles through our comprehensive Physical Education (PE) program. Delivered by Mrs Lisa O'Neill, the program is tailored to meet the developmental needs of students from Year 1 to Year 6.

Through a variety of engaging activities, games, and sports, students develop fundamental movement skills, teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship, and confidence. Lessons are designed to encourage participation and enjoyment while supporting students to improve their physical fitness and overall wellbeing.

A highlight of the school sporting calendar is our annual Faction Carnival, held in Term 3. Students participate in a range of track, field, and team events, demonstrating their skills, determination, and faction spirit while celebrating participation and achievement.

Students also have opportunities to represent Roebuck Primary School at a range of interschool competitions throughout the year. Selected students can compete in events including swimming, athletics (track and field), basketball, football, netball, and soccer, showcasing their talents while developing teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.

Our PE program encourages every student to challenge themselves, strive for personal bests, and develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity in a supportive and inclusive environment.
