At Roebuck Primary School, students in Years 1 to 6 participate in our fun, engaging, and hands-on Science program, led by Mrs Danika Allaway. The program inspires curiosity and encourages students to explore the world around them through inquiry, investigation, and discovery.
Through interactive lessons and practical experiments, students develop their understanding of scientific concepts while building important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, observation, and collaboration. Students are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, test ideas, and reflect on their findings in a supportive and exciting learning environment.
The Science program covers a range of topics across the biological, chemical, physical, Earth and space sciences, helping students make meaningful connections between their learning and everyday life. By engaging in hands-on activities and real-world investigations, students develop a deeper appreciation for science and its role in understanding our world.
Mrs Allaway's enthusiastic and interactive approach helps foster a love of learning and inspires students to think like scientists as they explore, experiment, and discover throughout the year.
